Grand Amazon Lodge is five years old and the newest lodge in the area. It was constructed with conservation and sustainability principles in mind, featuring solar panels and internet access. Due to its location and capabilities, Grand Amazon Lodge was chosen by the Discovery Channel for their recent production of the Naked and Afraid show. Grand Amazon lodge was founded by five scientists, Patrizia Marchese, Yair Aizenman, their sons Dani and Gabriel Aizenman, and Peruvian biologist Alfredo Dosantos.

Our excursions are led professional naturalists. All clients of the Curassow Lodge are given their own private guide; with your guide you can design your own jungle excursions that best suits the jungle experience you want to have. We offer excursions both in the day and the night. This variety provides our guests with the best opportunities to witness wildlife in their natural habitat.
