Our Mission and Impact
The primary mission of the Nevada Building Hope Foundation (NBHF) is to improve the lives of the people living in Ayacucho, San Juan de Yanayacu and Junin Villages. These communities are located on tributaries in the remote Peruvian Amazon.

Educational Projects
Education is a beacon of hope, lighting the way toward opportunity and lasting change. Supporting education programs in the Amazon is essential for empowering local communities, preserving biodiversity, and promoting sustainable development. Women Artisans Program
NBHF has equipped the women’s artisan group with essential craft supplies, enabling them to produce and sell items like baskets, carvings, and jewelry. This income empowers the women to support their families and strengthen their role in the community.

This program offers hands-on involvement in community outreach projects, all while immersing participants in the Peruvian Amazon.
Medical Clinic and Animal Rescue Center Project
In partnership with RAREC (Rainforest Awareness Rescue Education Center) in the vibrant village of San Juan de Yanayacu, our next big project is underway: a small medical clinic and animal rescue center.
💚 For the People:
In this remote rainforest community, access to healthcare is challenging. Our clinic will change that — bringing lifesaving emergency care, maternal and child health programs, and crucial disease prevention for illnesses like malaria and dengue. With a few beds and dedicated medical staff, it will serve as both a healing space and a hub for education and hope.
🐾 For the Animals:
Alongside the clinic, the new animal rescue center will care for injured and endangered wildlife — protecting the delicate rainforest ecosystem and nurturing the bond between the community and nature.

Currently we are raising funds to build the medical clinic and animal rescue center.
