Operation Monkey

Imagine a family of Titi monkeys, rescued from danger, waiting for their chance to return home to the jungle. With your support, that moment can become reality.

In November 2025, the Rainforest Awareness Rescue Education Center (RAREC) and NBHF joined forces to launch Operation Monkey, a project dedicated to reintroducing these monkeys into the wild. To make this possible, we need your help to build a temporary pre-release enclosure in San Juan. This safe space will prepare the monkeys for freedom until the permanent animal rescue center opens in 2026.

The Rescue Center will be more than a shelter—it will be a lifeline for injured, displaced, and endangered wildlife, and an educational hub to inspire conservation across the Amazon Basin.

Your generosity will directly empower local caretakers, provide safe conditions for the monkeys, and ensure their successful release into the jungle. Together, we can protect biodiversity, strengthen community involvement, and give these animals the future they deserve.
